Terms of Service

Investo (investo.ng) is operated by One Digital NG, a company registered in Nigeria with registration number RC 1859275, based in Lagos, Nigeria. These terms are an agreement between you and One Digital NG. By creating an account or using Investo you accept them.

Investo is an AI-powered investment research and market-intelligence platform focused on securities listed on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX). It provides financial information, market data, computed metrics, research tools, and AI-generated analysis.

Investo does not provide personalised investment advice or discretionary portfolio management, and is not a broker, dealer, portfolio manager, or custodian of customer funds or securities. Nothing on Investo, including verdicts, fair-value estimates, conviction levels, memos, signals, or answers from Ask, is investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Our outputs are model estimates and research opinions. They can be wrong. Decisions you make with them are yours, and you should consult a licensed investment professional where appropriate.

Investo has no custody function. We do not accept deposits, hold funds or securities, execute trades, or route orders. Investo does not provide any mechanism for depositing investment funds or transferring securities to us, and nobody claiming to accept investment funds on Investo's behalf is acting for us. If someone asks you to transfer investment money to use Investo, it is fraud. Report it to femi@onedigital.ng.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Investo is not directed at persons under 18.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to interfere with other users or our infrastructure.

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute Investo's data or analysis, or resell access to it, without a written licence from us;
• reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the service or its security;
• use Investo to violate any law or the rights of others;
• misrepresent Investo's outputs as guarantees, or present them as your own licensed advice to third parties.

Programmatic access is offered separately through the Investo Data API under the Data & API Terms. Third-party and licensed data accessed through Investo, including NGX market data, remains subject to the applicable provider's licence restrictions; access to Investo does not grant redistribution rights in that data.

We work to keep data accurate and label freshness honestly, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and data may be delayed, revised, or wrong at the source.

Parts of Investo are generated by AI. AI-generated analysis can contain errors, omissions, or misjudgements even when built on correct data, and may be generated from incomplete, outdated, incorrectly interpreted, or conflicting information. You should independently verify material information before making an investment decision.

Fair values and similar figures are model outputs, not predictions. Different assumptions, methodologies, data inputs, or model configurations may produce materially different results. Past performance, real or backtested, does not predict future results.

Investo incorporates information from third-party sources, including market-data providers, exchanges, issuers, regulatory disclosures, and other public or licensed sources. We do not control these sources and cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness, availability, or continued availability.

Investo does not guarantee that any security will increase or decrease in value, that any strategy will be profitable, or that any analysis, signal, valuation, ranking, or forecast will achieve a particular outcome.

You retain ownership of information and content you submit to Investo, including watchlists, portfolios, notes, theses, and memos. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, analyse, and display that content in order to provide and improve the service, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Investo's software, interface, original analysis, and proprietary compilations belong to One Digital NG or its licensors, subject to any rights held by third-party data providers. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own research.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Investo is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Certain features may currently be available without charge during early access. We may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, usage-based fees, or other charges in the future, and will clearly disclose applicable pricing and billing terms before charging you for any paid feature or service.

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, One Digital NG is not liable for investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Investo or reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold One Digital NG harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising directly from your material breach of these terms, unlawful use of Investo, or infringement of another person's rights.

These terms sit alongside four documents that apply to you where relevant, and are incorporated by reference:

• the Risk Disclosure, which sets out the specific limits of our research and the market risks it cannot remove — read it before relying on any verdict;
• the Privacy Policy, covering what we collect and why;
• the Subscription Terms, if you pay for Investo;
• the Data & API Terms, if you use the Data API.

Where one of those documents conflicts with these terms on the subject it covers, that document wins for that subject.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email, with the effective date above updated. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
