Investo is an AI research desk covering all 147 equities listed on the Nigerian Exchange. It reads what companies publish, turns it into structured fundamentals, and writes the verdict only as far as the evidence goes.
Investo indexes company filings and exchange disclosures, extracts structured fundamentals from them, and publishes confidence-gated AI verdicts with fair-value ranges — for every listed name, not the handful that happen to be fashionable.
It is a research tool. It never holds customer money, and it is neither a broker nor a portfolio manager. What it produces is checkable: the coverage report is public and shows what we hold on each symbol, and the Data API exposes the same underlying data to anyone who wants to test it against their own.
Nigerian investors — retail and institutional alike — have had no equivalent of a full-coverage research desk. Sell-side attention concentrates on a small group of large, liquid names; a great many listed companies have never had a published research note at all. Everyone else has been left with a price, a rumour and a WhatsApp group.
That gap is not a data problem so much as a labour problem: reading every filing on the exchange, every quarter, has never been worth a human analyst's time at the bottom of the market. It is worth a machine's. Investo exists to do that reading uniformly, publish it in the open, and be honest about where it still falls short.
Company filings and exchange disclosures are captured as they are published, not when someone gets around to reading them.
Statements are parsed into comparable fields — the same line items, the same units, period against period — so figures can be compared instead of eyeballed.
Fundamentals, valuation and risk are assembled into a thesis with both sides stated, and a fair-value range rather than a single confident number.
Where the evidence is thin, the verdict is withheld and the page says so. A gap shown is worth more than a number invented to fill it.
Anything that reads company filings and writes conclusions can be made to sound certain. Three rules stop that here, and they are worth more than any feature on the site.
Every figure traces to a filing, an exchange feed or a stated calculation. Where a source is missing, the site shows a dash — never a plausible-looking estimate dressed as fact.
A verdict is gated on the quality of what we hold. If the filings are stale or incomplete, the verdict is withheld rather than softened, and the coverage report says which names those are.
Investo holds no customer funds, executes no trades and manages no portfolios. It is not a broker, dealer or portfolio manager, and it does not give personal investment advice.
Educational research. Not investment advice.
